While the future of the fuel cell is promising, the dynamic effect of economy, politics, and culture on the ultimate role of the technology is undeniable. It is the primary aim of H2Systems to set reasonable goals based on reasonable expectations, however rapidly they might change. 

H2Systems' vision of the near term industry focus is the building of collaborative agreements between industry partners and government to develop core technologies and assess commercial feasibility. While there are some opportunities for market entry through stationary applications, the transportation application is at least several years from commercialization.
